Service Description

For those wishing to acquire a restricted firearms license in Canada (i.e. handguns) you require a firearms Possession and Acquisition License (PAL) with both restricted and non-restricted endorsement. The CRFSC includes 6+ hours of classroom instruction which is a combination of multimedia presentation, discussion, and hands on training with a variety of firearms. *In Ontario if you attend the non-restricted course (CFSC) and the restricted course (CRFSC) within 30 days of each other, the restricted class is only 4+ hours of classroom instruction. This only applies if you have taken (CFSC) less than 30 days prior. FOR RESTRICTED FIREARMS COURSE TOPICS INCLUDE: • Introduction of restricted firearms • Basic safety practices for restricted firearms • Restricted firearms ammunition • Restricted firearm action types and their operations • Safe handling procedures • Firing techniques and procedures • Care of restricted firearms • Responsibilities of firearm owners and users • Safe storage, display, transportation, and handling of restricted firearms Each student will be loaned the official student manual which is an excellent resource and will act as the guideline for our training session, also available for purchase. *Please note: If you are taking your training for employment purposes, most organizations, including Canadian Border Services Agency (CBSA) require both the non-restricted and restricted firearms class.  If you're having trouble, contact us by e-mailing us at contact@northfrontfirearms.ca or give us a call at (613)264-6367.
